I guess one good thing came out of certain building tenants complaining to the landlady that the managers were not doing their jobs and letting the place fall to shambles…the managers got angry and decided to make life difficult for my little family.
I got a call from the owner today saying that I was NOT permitted to run a dayhome out of HER building…so without her saying it, it was understood…either move out or shut down the dayhome. I don’t know about anyone else, but I wasn’t about to cancel my most important source of income, and thus my ability to support my children…so I started looking online.
I struck it rich and found a townhouse (yes, a townhouse, not an apartment!) that is in new condition, has a fenced-in yard and a finished basement…and THEY don’t mind if I run a dayhome!
All this said, we are (hopefully) going to sign the lease tomorrow and we have until Monday to get our rears out of here!
Sooo..the world of the Internet will have to wait a little longer until I can get my life sorted in our new home. I will send pics of everything once we are set up so you can see the new play/learning area for the kids (we have the finished basement to dedicate to them)!
