I just thought I’d revisit some of my old blog posts and found that the Montessori Pink Level manipulatives are still my hottest download. If you (or someone you know) are looking to teach your children to read using the Montessori method, the pink scheme, that you’d find in a high-priced Montessori school is available here for free! (well save for the actual objects for the object boxes-which I substituted for object cards).

Like with the other pink-level traceables, these are to be presented after a child has mastered the task (sentence strips in this case) and only if the child so-desires.

While working on the phrase strips with your child, these strips will help you to reinforce the new concepts learned in a colorful way. Cut out the strips and give them to your child one at a time as he is able to read the new phrase.

Simply put, I’ve uploaded the pink level word lists formatted in a way that the child may trace over each word as he learns them. Once the child has finished with a specific word list, you may give him the corresponding one in this set as writing practice and to reinforce what has been learned. 

Cut out each list and give it out one at a time.
